| | YouTube, the world's largest video sharing service, has launched a brand new college-friendly version of its site.
YouTube For Schools guarantees classrooms access to educational videos without the chance of pupils being "distracted by the newest music video or cute cat". The Google-owned site has put collectively playlists in keeping with subject matter and supposed age level.
Google stated it hoped to attract faculties which had previously been put off by inappropriate content on the location. It has some optimistic points, notably the elimination of comments - and ads - which might have made a lot of YouTube fall foul of many instructional filters.
